Full form of JECA is Joint entrance for Computer Application Examination
JECA is a state level examination which conducted annually every year on regular basis.
This examination is state level examination but candidate who are from outside of West Bengal states are eligible for seat in this examination.
Almost all MCA course under WBJECA are AICTE recognized.

WBJEE JECA 2018 EXAM ELIGIBILITY :

Eligibility 1 : candidate must have passed bachelor degree in 10+2+3 mode from UGC recognized board or universities with at least 60% in honours/aggregate ( 45% for SC/ST candidats) or AICTE recognaized BCA from any University/institute along with 60% marks (45% for sc/st candidates ) in Mathematics at the bachelor’s level. Candidates have to also secure at least 60% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) in secondary and Higher secondary or equivalent level from recognized boards with at least 60% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) in Mathematics at each level.

MODULE 2 : ugc and or AICTE recognized ( as the case may be) Bachelor’s degree of Minimum 3 years duration except BBA with Mathematics at 10+2 level or graduate level. Obtained 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST/OBC candidates) at graduation level.

Module 3 : graduate or equivalent degree in 10+2+3 pattern in any discipline of a UGC recognized university or institutes or AICTE recognized BE/BTECH/BCA of a university /institutes. Candidates must have Mathematics as one of the subjects at each level of education. Candidates have to secure 60% marks ( 45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) at each level education.

Module 4 : BSC honours degree in 10+2+3 mode in any discipline of a UGC recognized university/ institutes with at least 60% marks in hons./ aggregate ( 45% marks for SC/ST/OBC candidate ) along with at least 55% marks in Mathematics. Candidates have to secure at least 60% marks in secondary and higher secondary or equivalent level from recognized boards with at least 60% marks in Mathematics at each level.

WBJEE JECA 2018 EXAM FEES :

Rs – 500/- (GEN & OBC candidates)
Rs – ?/- (SC/ST candidates).
No exam fees exempted for female candidate.
Service charges will applicable on fees payment.
Payment modes are through net banking, debit card, credit card and transaction failed at EPG, the candidate has to make payment once again.
You can pay in cash also through in Allahabad Bank e-challan.
Do not wait for the last day to make fee payment in order to avoid payment failure by bank or EPG.

Only offline OMR paper based test are available no computer based test are available.
MCQ based question papers and OMR answer sheet are there.
Total 150 objective questions with equal 1 marks each.
Total marks will be 150.
Time duration is total 3hours.
Negative marking 1/4th are applicable is this examination.
Exam language will be only English.
All type of Electronic gadget and log books are strictly banned in examination hall like other competitive examination.
There have no any group discussion and personal interview.
