Nursing Courses Entrance Exams in India
- In India there have more than 20 popular entrance test are conducted every year regularly for taking nursing admission in different nursing courses.
- Every entrance test are conducted by either government of India authority or State government authority under supervision of INC or State Nursing Councils.
- In most of the states and most of Nursing Courses entry level have no entrance exams. All admission process in these cases is according to Marks basis or first come first serve basis.

Nursing Courses Eligibility
- In all over India educational Eligibility criteria are more or less same.
- English one of subjects is mandatory for most of the nursing courses.
- Minimum 40% to 50% average marks is mandatory in most of the nursing courses.
- In case of some nursing council’s some nursing courses apart from marks entrance examination ranks is mandatory.
- Open School Board and University e.g NIOS, RMV, IGNOU etc. are eligible in most of the nursing courses.
- All Schools Board and Universities should be COBSE Recognised or Concern Nursing Councils recognized.
- Different nursing councils eligibility are different as per there guideline time to time.
- Below chart 10+2 means Higher Secondary or Senior Secondary or class 12th .
- PCB means Physics, Chemistry, Biology.
